Durham County RFU open applications for the upcoming season for U17 Boys

The new U17’s County Season is nearly underway and we are calling for nominations for this year’s teams. As always we are looking for the best of the best, the player that makes you GASP!

But you don’t have much time to get your entries in.

Due to a tight timescale, the nominations have to be returned by 28th January 2019.

After a successful campaign in U16’s last year, with 2 squads, we have the unenviable task of only selecting 1 squad of approximately 28 players this year. So whilst we will invite all of last years player back for consideration, we also want new talent.

We know players have developed sine last year and we want to see the best of the best at trials, so if you have players who you believe are amongst the very best in the county then please nominate them and tell us the following:

Full Name, DOB, Club, School/College, Position 1, Position 2. Coaches supporting comments to support your applications.

Please send all nominations to Phil Lax –

We wish you all the best of luck and hope to see lots of talent in the squad, again this year!

If you have any questions please contact David Hill, Player Pathway Manager on or directly on 07522758395
