Falcons Camp: Residental junior camp returns for tenth year

The Newcastle Falcons Barnard Castle residential camp returns for its tenth year at the prestigious Barnard Castle School.

It will be held from August, 21- 25. The five day/ four nights residential camp is a fantastic opportunity for experienced rugby players to gain high quality coaching from Newcastle Falcons community coaches, Falcons players and Academy coaches.

As well as invaluable time spent with coaches and players there are a variety of areas the camp will focus on including: fitness, game management, position specific skill sessions and tactical decision making.

This gives the participants an insight into professional rugby with visits from both Newcastle Falcons players as well as hosting Acadmey Coachings. Both visits will give the playes insight into how to improve their game and work towards their rugby goals.

To conclude the week, the Friday will be games day – participants are put into teams and play games displaying all they have learnt throughout the week, and of course parents are invited to come and watch.

Off the field, each evening there will be a host of activities to take part in such as touch rugby, football, dodgeball, swimming* and leisure time.
The price includes three meals a day plus supper, and all overnight accommodation.

For just £295 participants will have a week never to forget experiencing first class coaching in spectacular surroundings.

Camp begins Monday @ 1pm and finishes Friday lunch time. Participants must be at least age group U13 and maximum U17 (going into season 17/180).
