Coach Development

Coach Development

Durham County wants to help clubs develop their coaches. To aid this process, each club has a designated Club Coach Coordinator – this person is tasked with helping recruit new coaches as well as to facilitate coach development within the club.

This can be in the form of mentoring coaches, sign posting people to local courses or booking in courses at their club.

To find you CCC please go to your club website or ask them on facebook.

If you are interested in becoming a coach but do not have a club yet please contact us:

There are lots of ways of getting into coaching, the best way is to attend a local RFU course, their CPD’s which are bite size courses usually lasting two to three hours are designed to give you all the info you need to coach in that area. If you are new to the sport but want to get involved there is lots of information on England Rugby here

Some of the 2018/19 course dates are now available for booking, check them out below;
